Rap music has push the culture of hip-hop into a corner.Many forgetting about what and how his music was formed. It was started not because of money but a group of guys who channeled their energy into experimenting by taking two turntables and forming a sound from a record collection.

   Now days, all you hear on the radio is I got this, you wish you had this or I am the biggest gangsta who has the most dope.

   Don't get me wrong some rappers really live the life and have stripes on the streets and write songs. But there is a difference between a rapper and  a m.c.

   You can call me old school but  I am from the days of sitting in  cyphers and guys going at it toe to toe with rhymes of break-dancing, a vibrant expression of hip hop. Egg rolling, head spinning, pop locking dancing on linoleum floors taken from abandon buildings in the hood. Man!!!! those were the days.

    Many can get on the mic and talk shit and influence shorties to do what they are talking about. In reality they are not doing it in the first place. M.C's music has substance or telling a story that relates to his environment it may be negative but has a positive vibe that makes their music beautiful. Its not all about glamour.

    Many have pick up the mic and said they wanted to rap. Are you rapping for the finincal gain or you truely want to become an artist. I wondered how may said I'm hip-hop meaning they understand how long and far the struggle that hip hop had to go to get to this point. No radio play in 1980, it all came from house parties or your guy had the tape banging it in his car or walking down the street with his radio. Many years it took hip hop to be expected as music.Back then tho, it was all good as long as the hood was playing your music everything was all good!!!!
